| I have experience in Baan, having worked for a year at Baan Spain and Portugal, where I worked as a systems consultant. I have been the person in charge of co-ordinating and deploying the complete process for installations of the main clients Baan has in the Iberian peninsula, such as ABB, Abengoa, Babcock Wilcox, Sapec, Amorim, and some others (see details later). I have also been in charge of supporting most of our partner’s technical consultants and installations: Andersen Consulting (Accenture), Cap Gemini, KPMG, Origin, etc. After all, I have more than 15 installations in Spain and 10 in Portugal on my back, as well as many installations for our internal demo/training machines. My main focus of interest has been based in the configuration, audit, and performance optimisation of NT based systems, having used Oracle 7.3.x, SQL Server 6.5/7 and Informix 7.2x RDBMSs. I have also participated in pre-optimisations such as Atlantis or F-Ramada among others. I have plenty of experience in complex cluster configurations in systems from HP, Compaq, IBM, Data General, etc. I’ve also been able to assist to the last optimisation course in Voorthuizen, given by BBO, where I have been in touch with some optimizating tools (bbo fm, bbo am, etc.) |
